Winteb receives US Patent for their HIAS technology.

Winteb is proud to anounce that the WIN2000 HIAS Air Pipe Heads have been granted US Patent no. 9441751.

On November 19th 2016 Winteb received the news from “The United States Patent and Trademark Office” that their HIAS technology implemented into the WIN2000 air vent heads has been granted US Patent No.9441751.

Winteb developed the HIAS (High Inlet Air Speed) technology to face the ever increasing performance of anti-rolling/stability tanks and larger (U-shaped) ballast systems on board ships. This simple but very efficient solution designed by Winteb increases the maximum inlet air speed capacity of their air vent heads by an average factor 4!

In production for several years now, the WIN2000HIAS air vent head has proven to be a reliable, high quality and high performance air vent head which can meet any and all tough circumstances.

Despite the fact that third parties have copied Winteb it still has the smallest, lightest and best performing air vent head in the world.

Receipt of this Patent once more acknowledges the fact that Winteb is an innovative, customer focussed company.

This patent – amongst others about to be received - will also give Winteb more legal possibilities to act against third parties who decide to copy the Winteb products and/or technology.
